Jan Kraus is at it again. The popular talk-show host, who was an open supporter of Jan Švejnar for president, used his F1 radio show last week to cast doubt on whether Václav Klaus truly has a young female lover. Pictures of them coming out of a hotel have been plastered all over the tabloids, but this doesn't impress Kraus. "They went to a hotel?" he asked with incredulity. "That's like going to the exhibition grounds to show yourself off." He suggested that the tryst was intentionally leaked to the media to achieve a certain aim. He rejected the thought that Klaus was trying to hide a preference for men, but by merely raising the issue, Kraus broke a taboo in the Czech media. Another conspiracy theory (not mentioned by Kraus) is that Klaus has suffered some sort of serious illness and wants to prove to the world that he's still macho. Whatever the truth, Klaus is keeping quiet. Gentlemen don't talk.[Czech Radio homosexuality gay Frekvence jedna]
