We hear Al Gore state categorically that "the debate is over" among scientists about global warming. Religious radicals say "the debate is over" about evolution, and they swear instead by "intelligent design," the theory that life was created by an unnamed intelligent cause. One Czech who has bought both the global-warming and intelligent-design arguments is photographer Jan Saudek. He told F1 radio that people are destroying the Earth and that there must be some kind of higher being, because evolution can't explain something as perfect as women.
