Emasculation

For the third time in 10 days, ODS Chair Mirek Topolánek has been publicly emasculated. The first snip came when his cuckolded wife, Pavla Topolánková, announced that she was running for the Senate for Politics 21. The second came on Wed., when Topolánek went crawling to ČSSD Chair Jiří Paroubek for support for his minority cabinet. The third came yesterday, when KDU-ČSL Chair Miroslav Kalousek copied Topolánek's wife and switched allegiances after Topolánek started cheating on him by agreeing with ČSSD to change the electoral system. Czechs - may God take mercy on their souls - are now going to be faced with a ČSSD-KDU cabinet backed by the Communists, and Topolánek will go down in history as the shortest-serving PM and ODS chair. President Václav Klaus hasn't commented yet on the latest development. His reaction will give a clue as to whether this isn't what he and Miloš Zeman had been planning all along.
