Naked truth

TV Nova's new news portal, tn.cz, offers lots of videos and even
naked news, but it's missing what many news addicts would
welcome the most: A podcast of Nova's evening news. Nova's
archives are available on the web, but a podcast is different. It
can be automatically downloaded to a computer or iPod and be
viewed at any time. Leading TV stations the world over already
offer news podcasts - try ARD, CNN, Sky, TF1, to name a few.
They understand the value of having widely distributed flagship
products that increase their influence and prestige. TV Nova is
way behind the times in this respect, and Czech TV and TV
Prima are no better. In contrast, the leading radio stations
(Czech Radio, Impuls, F1) offer a wide selection of podcasts. But
what's most important to TV Nova is that its naked news will be
played more times than all these podcasts combined, which is of
course the sad, naked truth.
