Tattoo you (at your own risk)
2005-10-27
If News Corp., and not MTG, had bought into TV Prima, Czechs
might have had a first-hand chance to gauge whether young
James Murdoch would make a dignified successor to his father,
Rupert. The Wall Street Journal referred to James as a showman
and noted that he has at least one tattoo. Back in Prague,
Grafton Recruitment said it hasn't encountered a negative
reaction so far from a potential employer because of a job
candidate's tattoo. In most cases, it said, tattoos are seen as an
original way to bring attention to oneself, and they can be found
across all social and employment groups, including among
middle and upper management. The Journal suggested, though,
that James Murdoch's tattoo might say something about his
potential to run News Corp. Some conservative types, it seems,
still consider a tattoo reason enough to keep looking for the
ideal job candidate.
