If there is no such thing as a coincidence, as fictional homicide detective HarryBosch is wont to say, how should we view the fact that the very same Ladislav Bátorawho incited the latest Czech cabinet crisis is the one who also predicted thatVáclav Klaus will soon launch a new political party? Or that the flames of crisiswere fanned by the same Miroslav Kalousek who has perhaps the best chance ofbecoming the next Czech PM, should the Nečas government fall? Or that the crisiscoincided with a devastating leak from within ODS about how poorly Petr Nečas isguiding his party into the regional elections? Is it conceivable that Klaus would tryto solder together a new political party from scraps of ODS and VV and, in one fellswoop, gain representation for it in both Parliament and the cabinet? It's too early tosay, but this could realistically be one of the 28 chess games the Professor is playing.
