Andrej Babiš said in Oct. 2015 that he would never again appear in a TV debate with Miroslav Kalousek, and he has kept his word. Babiš skipped a planned encounter on Czech TV in May, and Kalousek gave Babiš and Jaromír Soukup the cold shoulder on TV Barrandov on Mon. Babiš instead faced a panel of B- and C-Team players. Babiš's opponents keep calling him an oligarch and even the capo di tutti capi, so why should he appear with mere foot soldiers and messenger boys? Let's hear it straight from the horses' mouth. Let's put the other oligarchs, mini-oligarchs and would-be oligarchs on the stage with Babiš and Soukup. That means Richard Háva for TOP 09; Luděk Sekyra for KDU-ČSL; Dalibor Dědek for STAN; Marek Dospiva for Realisté; Roman Jurečko and Edvard Udženija for ODS. But what about ČSSD? Where to start? Martin Roman, Zdeněk Bakala, Jaroslav Tvrdík, Radek Pokorný, Daniel Křetínský? Soukup's going to need a bigger stage. [Czech Republic ČT OVM Duel Jaromíra Soukup Speciál]
