When Peter Ustinov performed his one-man show in Prague in Nov. 1991, he entertained an international crowd with anecdotes in at least six languages (English, German, French, Russian, Italian and Brooklynese). He had a long, warm relationship with the CR, according to Týden. He was friends of the comedy team of Voskovec and Werich, shot a film (Luther) in Prague, and danced at the opera house. He also said his great-great-great-great grand uncle created the part of Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni under Mozart's baton at the world premiere in Prague. His biographer, Felizitas von Schönborn, said that despite his prolific career, Ustinov was actually quite an Oblomov (the lazy fellow from Goncharov's novel). He kept no daily schedule, often failed to show up for meetings, and counted "The Good Soldier Švejk" as one of his favorite novels.
