U.S. Pres. Joe Biden used his harshest language yet yesterday to admonish Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu to protect civilian life in Gaza. "Bibi has got a tough decision to make," Biden said. "He's a good friend, but I think he has to change and - with this government. This government in Israel is making it very difficult for him to move." Biden went on to explain that Israel "has the European Union, it has Europe, it has most of the world supporting it. But they're starting to lose that support by the indiscriminate bombing that takes place." One country whose support Israel hasn't lost is the Czech Republic. PM Petr Fiala always emphasizes the right of Israel to defend itself, not the humanitarian aspect. His national security adviser, Tomáš Pojar, reduced the issue at the Aspen Annual Conference on Nov. 16 to a prayer for every Hamas terrorist to be killed as soon as possible. This is Netanyahu's approach, but not Biden's. Fiala has a tough decision to make. To choose between Bibi and Biden. [ Czech Republic ODS United States of America White House terrorism Prague ]
