Elon Musk's strategy for gaining independence from the two-party U.S. electoral system - "some would say uniparty" - with the America Party is simple enough. One way to "execute on" this, he said on X, is to laser-focus on just 2-3 Senate seats and 8-10 House districts. "Given the razor-thin legislative margins, that would be enough to serve as the deciding vote on contentious laws, ensuring that they serve the true will of the people." Anyone from the "uniparty," including Donald Trump, now has a big reason to "laser-focus" on Musk to prevent this. The Czech Motorists admire Trump more than Musk but, in a sense, have already been "executing on" Musk's strategy and could now even consider changing their off-putting name to the Czechia Party. They want to be the swing votes in an ANO-led government and see this as a way to take Andrej Babiš to the Right. Those who favor the Czech uniparty, though, see the Motorists as Babiš's ticket to a respectable government without real extremists. That's why they're "laser-focusing" on discrediting MEP Filip Turek. It's the Motorists' bad luck that they chose a mascot who is such as an easy target.
