Politically, STAN has been driving the bitcoin scandal of ODS much more than the opposition. It was MP Jan Lacina of STAN who said on the night of Pavel Blažek's announced resignation on May 30 that if Blažek hadn't quit, STAN probably would have had to threaten to leave the government. It was also Lacina who said 10 days later that he couldn't rule out leaving the government if the bitcoin matter weren't cleared up by the time of the no-confidence vote. It was MP Hana Naiclerová of STAN who said she walked out of the chamber during the no-confidence vote on June 18, as one of two STAN MPs to do so, because she wanted to show that she couldn't tolerate the approach ODS was taking. It was STAN Vice Chair Karel Dvořák who stated yesterday that David Uhlíř, as the just-resigned coordinator of the bitcoin clarification effort, hadn't given the public the answers it needs. It was MP Pavla Pivoňka Vaňková of STAN who said last night that her party's confidence in Spolu has been shaken since the scandal was revealed. It is now STAN that must decide once again whether to bring down the Fiala government before the elections. [ Czech Republic collapse fall new early parliamentary ]
