One month after the supreme state prosecutor's office, headed by Lenka Bradáčová, returned a key political part of the bitcoin case from Prague to the office of Olomouc Senior State Prosecutor Radim Dragoun, the Olomouc office filed criminal charges against three more people, including ex-Justice Min. Pavel Blažek of ODS. The elephant in the room yesterday was whether the charges would have been filed against Blažek if Bradáčová's former colleagues in Prague had still been in charge of the matter. Justice Min. Jeroným Tejc had spoken about whether something was being swept under the rug when the case was moved. Even blunter was Adam Bašný, who tendered his resignation as a high-level prosecutor on April 1, citing a "synergy of key interests and support" on the part of Blažek, Bradáčová and ex-chief prosecutor Pavel Zeman. Yesterday's charges suggest that Dragoun has finally emancipated himself from Bradáčová and the interests that have kept her in office. This puts him in a good position to replace her if and when she resigns. [ Czech Republic Radomír Daňhel Tomáš Jiřikovský’s Kárim Titz ANO minister carpet ]
