Motorists Chair Petr Macinka complained on CNN Prima News nine days ago that the foreign policy of the previous government was all about Ukraine. All the trips were to there, all the money went there, and all the political capital was directed toward it, he said. It was the Ukrainian government, he said, and Petr Fiala was the Ukrainian PM. What does this make Macinka after he told FAZ of Germany this week that many things have changed with the arrival of the Babiš government but that some things have remained the same, and that the relationship to Ukraine is one of them? Macinka was responding to a question about whether Europe and Ukraine can rely on Prague as a supporter in the fight against Russia. A distinction can of course be made between support for Ukraine and excessive support, but Macinka hasn't taken the time to explain where the dividing line is. And before speaking like Fiala in the foreign press, he could have presented his new Ukraine policy to his coalition partners and voters. [ Czech Republic Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung Moto ODS ]
