It's been nearly three years since prominent Pirate Jakub Michálek declared on Czech TV that STAN had used the black funds it stole from DP Praha transit company to finance the illegal campaign in the 2021 parliamentary elections for circling out the Pirates. With the Dosimeter criminal case resuming this week in Prague 9 District Court and the Senate and municipal elections right around the corner, resurrecting Michálek's claim of major corruption at DPP would be an obvious campaign move. Yet the Pirates' Prague leader, Tereza Nislerová, made no mention of Dosimeter in a rare TV appearance on CNN Prima News on Mon. Instead of complaining about the cost to Prague residents of corruption at DPP, she proposed raising the price of a transit pass. She also made it clear that her preferred partners for a new government at Prague city hall are STAN and Praha sobě. One of the common denominators of those two parties is businessman Jan Dobrovský, whose name also appeared in the early days of the Dosimeter case and who is said to have significant influence at the Castle. Could it be that Dobrovský is now leading the Pirates around as well? [ Television mayor ]
