Anonymous internet blogger Thomas Paukner prides himself on using open sources to uncover corruption and other scandals, but sometimes he veers from this principle to draw his own conclusions. When internal data from Seznam ended up in the hands of reporter Zdislava Pokorná of Deník N, a disguised "Paukner" told Radim Panenka of Parlamentní listy that he didn't think the leak came from within Seznam or even from the BIS counterintelligence agency, which has widely been thought to be one of Pokorná's chief sources. "I'm more inclined toward the other service," "Paukner" said, "the unnamed one that falls under the interior ministry." That would be the ÚZSI foreign-intelligence agency, whose director, Vladimír Posolda, is being replaced as of the end of next month. Posolda was appointed by STAN Chair Vít Rakušan, whom "Paukner" considers the "most dangerous man in the country." ANO's interior minister, Lubomír Metnar, is removing Posolda. We'll soon see if the leaks to Pokorná dry up. [ Miroslav Toman ]
